Rebecca Shatto-Willison, LPN, is a well-versed Licensed Practical Nurse who attends to patients at The Montana Spine & Pain Center in Missoula, Montana, a role she embraced in 2012. Rebecca Shatto-Willison, LPN, attended Missoula College at the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana, and was awarded her practical nursing diploma in 1995. She is a Licensed Practical Nurse and remains at the forefront of her challenging field via memberships and affiliations with prestigious professional societies and associations, such as the Montana Nurses Association. Rebecca feels that her success is attributable primarily to truly enjoying working with people and enjoying what she does. “I learn something new almost every day because in nursing you never know it all”, says Rebecca. Outside work, she dedicates to gardening, reading, and time with her grandkids. She enjoys interacting with people and helping those most vulnerable in her community. She has always been interested in helping others for as long as she can remember. She is motivated at the start of each day by the fact that she has a new opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life at a critical time in theirs. Each day is a learning experience and “I am challenged to be a better caregiver with each patient I interact with”, says Rebecca. “I would hope that they would say that I listened to their needs and validated their feelings and treated them with respect”, she adds when asked how she makes a difference in the lives of her patients.
